Testing from Word 2013!

Let's see how this works! I've been meaning to do this for a while, as my Surface RT has Office 2013, but not Windows Live Writer. And, frankly, I don't always like using the web interface. I'm debating moving over to Word Press, just so I can learn it better, but we'll see.

Paranoia HERO

My Friday night gaming group runs what we call Casual Fridays. Basically, they're relatively short games, lasting about a month (4-5 sessions), just so we can try different things, have fun, and not have a huge commitment requirement. So, right now I'm running Paranoia, however Mongoose Games is currently between editions for the classic science-fiction spoof RPG. I have the previous edition which has no other books out for it right now, and the new edition only recently got Kickstarted. On top of that, I really don't want to learn the old version's system!

What to do...?

A tribute to Ayn Rand.

"And now I see the face of god, and I raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them joy and peace and pride. This god, this one word: 'I.'"
Ayn Rand

“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,  but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments." Exodus 20:4-6

Thanks, Chuck.

Inexpensive Reball target/catcher

If you play paintball, you know that paint isn’t cheap. It might be inexpensive, but its never cheap. I recently bought 100 GXG reballs so I could practice shooting my marker at home. What is a reball? Basically it’s a rubber paintball – they’re reusable!

But, in order to use them, I needed something to both shoot at and to collect the reballs. So, This was a simple project that only took a few minutes to complete, and was done very inexpensively. My total, pre-tax, was $21.85!

Iron Kingdoms RPG: pre-review question

I'm planning to do a review of Privateer Press' Iron Kingdoms RPG. So, the question is, "what would you like to hear?" I'll answer as best I can.

I should note that I'm not super mechanically minded. So, amazing math questions and such might go over my head.
